The Church of Zion
The Church of Zion

Perched on the edge of a sheer gorge rising above the Kasakh River, the Church of Zion was erected in 1215 A.D. in Saghmosavank, an ancient village of 130 residents located at the base of Mt. Aragats, which at 13,418 feet, is Armenia's highest peak.
